INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE in the practical training program ”Management for Business Start-up’s”

During the 19-29th of November, 2025 we invite you to participate in the free of charge practical training program “Management for Business Start-up’s”. The aim of this training – to learn how practically to prepare business plan and budget of the own firm.
Participants will receive certificates of course completion from Vytautas Magnus University. Number of ECTS: 2 (50 hours); Learning and assessment methods: Project-Based Learning The content of the training programme (hybrid):
Course venue ( for “face to face” meeting): Vytautas Magnus University (in Agriculture Academy, Universiteto g. 10, Akademija, 53367 Kauno r. sav.
Course prerequisites: Basics knowledge of Business management, Excel and Power point and English language for communications
Maximum number of students in the course: 20 (or about 10 teams); Participants: Bachelor’s and Master’s studies. Priority is given to participants, who have registered earlier and meet the requirements.
Learning outcomes and competencies of the training programme.
Participants will gain knowledge and practical skills in project management, marketing, accounting,
budgeting and teamwork. They will also improve their work skills in Excel and strengthen their public
speaking skills.
At the end of the course, participants will have to prepare a presentation in which they will present their
business idea to all participants, members of the commission and interested parties.
During the course, students are offered an interesting educational program: visiting business companies
near Kaunas city and excursions around the campus of the VMU Academy of Agriculture.
